Message: The days grew shorter,
As You cried for this world,
But now I cry,
Thinking of Your gift You gave,
I can still see you be in pain,
You were sacraficed so I may live,
I worry about the matters,
That now make me feel so bad,
How could I be so unreal?
I whined when it didn't go my way,
But now I look around,
I feel so self oriented,
So all about my own life,
But your words flowed from your tattered lip,
Still providing love and help,
I cry even now,
Looking back on what you did for me,
I look on this world,
And I wonder how could you provide life like
this,
You knew that this world would regert you,
You knew that you would be cursed and spat at,
But then why did you go through it?
You saw the blackness,
And came to deliever,
These people out into your light,
It cost you your entire life,
Your everything you could of seen,
Everything you could of been,
For me,
But you didn't care what the world thought of
you,
You looked past that,
You provided life that only you could give,
You still are there,
Whipping the tears from our eyes,
Softly speaking the words of life,
Into our ear,
To help us from our ways,
But why?
The clouds grew dark,
As your eyes became closed,
Your tears still were cried for this world,
Even as you died,
You died for me,
Sometimes I can't imagine it,
But I can feel it,
Your life is so much better now,
But why?
Why would you give up everything,
A sinners death for me?
When you never did anything,
Never even thought a single thing wrong,
Or was mean to anyone,
I stand in wonder,
At your glorious love,
Taken back,
By Your standing hope,
That gives another chance to anyone who asks for
it,
And still after the torture,
After the pain,
You were put through,
How can you stand us?
How can you look in our eyes and not see hatred?
Not see wickness?
Thank-You for such an awesome love,
That You have given to the entire world,
For not seeing our faults,
Looking past to see our life,
It's not a fairy tale,
It will always have a happy ending though,
But it's not a lie,
Your love streches to the far reaches of this
bounded earth,
And still it's more immense than the universe,
Cause I can live in truth,
Knowing that I have been saved,
For an eternity,
By Your great love.
